Eleanor G. LaPorte

Eleanor G. LaPorte, a member of the firm, practices primarily in the areas of business organization, commercial leases, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, private foundations, taxation, and estate planning and administration.


Ellie received her Bachelor of Accountancy degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi Patterson School of Accountancy in 2002. In 2003, she received her Master of Taxation from the University of Mississippi Patterson School of Accountancy. Ellie is licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant. In 2007, she received her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, she was an Associate Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal, received the Outstanding Student Award for Partnership Taxation, and received the 2007 Academic Excellence Award Law Emphasis given by the Estate Planning Council of Mississippi.


Ellie and her husband, Jotham, currently reside in Signal Mountain with their daughter, Avery, and son, Drew, and attend Signal Crest United Methodist Church.
