Tate Ducker

Tate A. Ducker is an associate with the firm, where he focuses on civil litigation including construction, personal injury and insurance litigation, business/commercial litigation, and landlord-tenant disputes. He also has experience in corporate law and estate administration. Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, Tate has successfully litigated a variety of cases throughout the region—from West Tennessee to Central Georgia. Tate believes the key to effective representation is a clear understanding of each client’s goals. He strives to be direct and transparent, and takes pride in offering practical, honest advice to help clients move forward with confidence.

A native of Weaverville, North Carolina, Tate earned his B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University, then moved to Nashville to earn his J.D. at Belmont University College of Law. While there, he was published in and served as an editor for the Belmont Law Review and competed on the mock trial team, which won the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Regional Championship. He also interned for the Honorables Joseph A. Woodruff, James G. Martin, III (retired), Mike W. Binkley (retired), and Deanna Bell Johnson of the 21st Judicial District of Tennessee—experience that helped shape his courtroom approach today.

Tate now calls Chattanooga home. He lives in North Chattanooga with his wife, Laura, and their dog, Rawley. Tate is an active member of the North Shore Fellowship church, and a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chattanooga. Tate enjoys a challenge, and you can often find him running or biking in the streets of Chattanooga in preparation for his next triathlon or marathon.
